Dave B
I'm the typical car guy who loves what he does! As a child I always played with cars. I had all sorts of Matchbox cars, micro machines, and rc cars. I built the plastic car models. I loved them all! I always wanted to "drive" the shopping cart at the supermarket. My mother would even let me steer the car every now and then. Everything about cars and driving excited me! Once I got my drivers license I probably spent more time with my first car than anything else.
I started in the car business selling Chevrolet and have spent over 15 years at the same Chevrolet Dealership. I strive to provide my clients with an informative sales experience where you will be comfortable and confident in making a purchase decision with me. You'll completely understand the all aspects of the vehicle you are interested in as well as the pricing I will offer you. My ultimate goal is to earn your business not only today but in the future as well.
Gone but not forgotten
The Original
The Original. The first feelings of freedom! That's what I remember about owning my first car. This 1993 Mercury Cougar XR7 gave me the freedom to go where I wanted when I wanted, as long as I was home at a reasonable hour... I washed and waxed this car constantly making sure it was spotless inside and out. The coolest feature it had... ASC, which I assumed was Automatic Sunroof Control. When turned on the sunroof would automatically close, if open, when the engine was turned off. Why don't all cars have that feature?
The Sportscar
The Sportscar was a perfect example of how you can manifest things to happen in your life. Saturday mornings we would move all the Corvettes to the front entrance of the dealership to display them. I would envision myself owning one in the future and a couple of years later I made it happen! This 2007 Corvette Z51 had 400HP and a 6-speed manual which was a pleasure to drive. I drove this car to Florida, South Dakota, and even Bowling Green KY to the Corvette Museum and Factory to tour the facility where it was built.
The OffRoader
The Offroader was my most modified vehicle. If you want to spend money modding out a vehicle get yourself a Wrangler. This 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport started out stock and ended up like this a few years later. The best part of owning a Wrangler is the top down doors off fun of the summer months both on road and offroad. I still remember being amazed the first time I went to Rausch Creek Offroad Park and experienced what these Jeeps are capable of... and I was just on the green trails!
The Classic
The Classic was love at first sight. It first appeared at a local cruise night in my hometown with a for sale sign in the window. This 1973 Ford Galaxie 500 looked, sounded, and ran great! It was a blast to cruise around in! After a number of years it's rear main seal needed replacing and I took on the challenge. It's very satisfying taking an engine out of a car, repairing it, putting it back together, and having it start right up again.
The EV
The EV will still be around until September of 2022 when the lease will expire. This 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV was my first full electric vehicle. After owning a Chevrolet Volt for awhile the Bolt EV was the logical next step. An electric vehicle makes a perfect daily driver especially working at a Chevrolet Dealership because I can charge while at work. Who knows, maybe this Bolt will be replaced by a Silverado EV...
The Beater
The Beater was the greatest value of any vehicle I've ever owned. I purchased this 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier in 2004 with 78,000 miles on her for $2,000. She got me safely where I needed to go for over 10 years and an additional 113,000 miles. She never asked for anything even as she watched my other vehicles get all the attention. This photo was taken the day she failed PA inspection due to a rusted frame.
